One year on
Last year we came to PolluConf with a version 1.0 that was a few months old. This year we return with the system surveyors use every day: LiDAR floor plans, samples on the plan, lab orders and reports, in one place and nothing typed twice.
The theme: as low as reasonably achievable
PolluConf 2026 is built around ALARA: exposure to building pollutants must be kept as low as possible, while the measures we demand or carry out stay reasonable. The programme moves from precaution versus proportionality (environmental law, toxicology, the new FOPH and Suva lead fact sheets) to PFAS in building materials and what is expected of surveyors, then to new ground for the profession (soil, neophytes, use-related pollutants) and to asbestos analysis, past and future.
For a surveyor, proportionate decisions start with good data from site: an exact plan, every sample placed where it was taken, results back in the file without retyping. That is the part we build.
Practical details
PolluConf 2026: 1 October 2026. PolluSan, the sister conference on remediation, takes place the day before, on 30 September. Programme, venue and registration at polluconf.ch.
What we will show on the stand
- LiDAR floor plans: scan a room with the phone in PolluScan Field, get a dimensioned plan before leaving the floor, and place samples on it as you go.
- Lab orders and results: send the sample list to the laboratory straight from the survey and get the results back into the file automatically.
- Reports: generate the survey report from your own template, with plans, samples and results already in place.
Bring a real case. The best demo is your last job: we take the plan you have, or none at all, and run it through from the first sample to the finished report.
